Mikel is a born and bred Salt Lake City native. Since he can remember his life has revolved around art. He began a strong affinity for graffiti back in 2008.
Michael has been an artist his entire life, first earning a reputation as one of the best graffiti artists in the area before transitioning into tattooing. After completing his apprenticeship at One Love Tattoos, he has spent the past four years building a name as one of the shop’s top tattoo artists. His books stay full, with clients seeking him out for his versatility and high-level artistry.
Michael specializes in new school, lettering, floral fine line, and realism, but he is also recognized as a strong all-around technician capable of delivering excellence in any style. Beyond his own work, Michael plays an important role in mentoring younger artists at One Love Tattoos, helping guide the next generation of tattooers with the same passion and dedication that drive his own craft.
